Hello Frnds..Sometime you want to stop symantec antivirus but you dont know the password to stop it.These are the simple Steps by which you can stop the antivirus.Just follow these steps:
Open Registry Editor (regedit).
Navigate to the following registry key:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\SMC.
Change the value for SMC Exit Test from 1 to 0.
Exit Registry Editor and now you can Stop Symantec AntiVirus Client.
Open Registry Editor (regedit).
Navigate to the following registry key:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\SMC.
Change the value for SMC Exit Test from 1 to 0.
Exit Registry Editor and now you can Stop Symantec AntiVirus Client.
